Job description

Teaching Personnel is on the lookout for an enthusiastic and experienced English specialist to join our team as a tutor in the Nottinghamshire area. This rewarding role involves providing focused one-to-one and small group tuition outside the classroom, supporting KS3 students who need a boost in English. If you’re passionate about helping young people achieve their full potential in English language and literature, we’d love to hear from you!

Role Overview
As an English Specialist Tutor, you’ll have the chance to:

  • Provide tailored support in English to students identified as needing additional help.
  • Design and deliver engaging, effective lesson plans that drive student progress.
  • Make a significant impact on students’ academic achievement and confidence, while supporting their well-being.

  • Organisational Skills: The ability to plan and deliver well-structured sessions.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
