Role and Responsibilities:
- Deliver inspiring and engaging English lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, fostering a love for literature and language.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching strategies to ensure every learner achieves their full potential.
- Collaborate with the English department to contribute to curriculum development and student enrichment activities.
- Uphold high standards for classroom management, creating a safe and encouraging learning environment in line with school policies.
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in English.
- Previous experience teaching English in secondary schools and a proven track record of fostering student success.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with a commitment to continuous professional development.
- A positive, proactive approach and genuine passion for English that can inspire students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
