Position: Secondary English Teacher (Short-term and Long-term Contracts)
Location: Secondary Schools across Northampton
Salary: Competitive (based on experience and contract length)
Contract: Flexible – short-term and long-term positions available

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality English Language and English Literature lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
- Inspire a love of reading, writing, and critical analysis through engaging lesson plans.
- Tailor lessons to suit a wide range of learning abilities and needs.
- Manage classroom behaviour and foster a positive learning environment.
- Mark and assess students' work, providing constructive feedback to support their progress.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate effectively with parents and staff.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Specialism in English, with experience teaching English Language and Literature at secondary level (KS3/KS4).
- Strong subject knowledge and ability to inspire students across diverse learning environments.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A passion for education and commitment to student success.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
