Salary: £31,650- £49,084

The Role:
As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Your role will involve planning and delivering lessons that are both creative and challenging, designed to engage students of all abilities. You will help students improve their reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills, guiding them to develop critical thinking abilities and a deep appreciation of English literature and language.
In addition to your teaching duties, you will play a key role in fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. You will support students through regular feedback and guidance, helping them to achieve their personal and academic goals. Collaboration with colleagues in the department and across the school will be central to ensuring high standards of teaching and learning are consistently maintained.
What We Are Looking For:
We are looking for a qualified and passionate teacher with a degree in English or a related field, along with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status). The ideal candidate will be excited to inspire students and share their enthusiasm for the English language and literature. You will be able to build positive relationships with students and colleagues, creating an atmosphere of respect and mutual support. Strong organisational skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage a classroom with confidence is essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
