Full-Time English Teacher – Secondary Catholic School, Crosby

A well-regarded Catholic secondary school in Crosby is seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis. This role offers the opportunity to inspire and educate students in an environment that values academic excellence, personal development, and a strong moral foundation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high-quality English lessons to secondary students in line with the national curriculum.
  • Encouraging a love of literature and language through dynamic and engaging teaching methods.
  • Promoting critical thinking, creativity, and independent learning.
  • Supporting the Catholic ethos of the school through professional conduct and personal values.
  • Contributing to the wider school community, including pastoral care and extracurricular activities.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience teaching English at the secondary level.
  • Have a strong understanding of Catholic values and ethos, with a commitment to fostering respect, compassion, and integrity among students.
  • Be an excellent communicator and role model, capable of building strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Demonstrate a passion for literature and language, inspiring students to reach their full potential.
  • Be adaptable, reflective, and committed to continuous professional development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
