Role Overview:
Teaching Personnel is seeking an experienced and passionate Maths Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Levenshulme. This full-time role begins in January and will cover a maternity leave, offering an exciting opportunity to inspire and support students in their mathematical learning journey within a highly supportive and well-regarded school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a deep understanding and appreciation of mathematics.

- Pastoral Care: Act as a form tutor or provide support to students as required, fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Preparation for Exams: Prepare students thoroughly for internal and external assessments, providing targeted support to help them succeed in their GCSE examinations.
- Professional Development: Engage in regular professional development opportunities offered by the school to enhance teaching practice.
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification with a specialism in Mathematics.
- Subject Expertise: A strong understanding of the Maths curriculum and the ability to teach the subject confidently across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Experience: Prior experience in delivering high-quality Maths lessons and supporting a diverse student population is highly desirable.
