ENGLISH TEACHERS IN COVENTRY... WE HAVE SOME EXCITING OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOU!

The team at Teaching Personnel have full time and part time opportunities for qualified English teachers in Coventry. We are working in close partnership with a number of mainstream secondary schools to recruit English teachers to work on a full time, part time or flexible basis.

 

Hours: Full time/part time (enjoy the freedom of working with an agency as we have full time, part time and flexible opportunities for you!)

Pay: To scale for long term positions (daily pay rates vary dependent upon experience)

Location: Coventry

 

Ideal Candidate:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) 

- BA (hons) English Language/Literature

- A strong understanding of the English national curriculum and awareness of any developments within this

- Excellent classroom presence and behaviour management

- Experience teaching English in a UK school

- Experience working with/teaching children with special educational needs

 

Job Roles/Responsibilities: 

- Deliver engaging English language and literature lessons to a range of ages and abilities across a mainstream secondary school

- Assess pupil progress, provide feedback and use progress to plan next lessons effectively

-Collaborate with colleagues within the English department

- Communicate effectively with parents, raising any concerns in a timely and discreet manner

- Contribute to wider school community

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
