Supply Teacher of English – Inspire, Challenge, Achieve
Bradford, West Yorkshire
Full-Time or Part-Time | Supply (flexible days available)
Paid to scale (MPS/UPS)
Start: September 2025 (or sooner)

Are you a passionate and adaptable English teacher looking for flexible teaching opportunities? We’re looking for a dedicated Supply Teacher of English to work with a range of welcoming and well-supported secondary schools across Bradford.

This role is perfect for someone who loves the classroom but values flexibility, variety, and the opportunity to teach without the pressure of long-term planning or marking.


✏️ About the Role:

  • Deliver engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and KS5 where applicable)

  • Step into classrooms with confidence, supporting students' learning and progression

  • Work with supportive departments and follow established schemes of work

  • Opportunities available for both day-to-day and short/medium-term placements


What We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent)

  • Strong classroom management and the ability to quickly build rapport with students

  • A genuine enthusiasm for English language and literature

  • Flexibility and a positive, can-do attitude

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
