English Teacher Wanted – Barnstaple
Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to work in a secondary school in the Barnstaple area. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking department, delivering engaging lessons that inspire a love of English.
Location: Barnstaple
Role: English Teacher (KS3 & KS4)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time, with long-term and potential permanent opportunities available
We welcome applications from experienced teachers and ECTs who are passionate about delivering high-quality English education and supporting student progress across all ability levels.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:

QTS or QTLS status (or equivalent overseas qualifications)

Experience teaching English at secondary level

Strong classroom management and communication skills

A creative and engaging teaching style

Commitment to supporting pupil achievement and progress

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
