Job description

We are currently supporting non-selective 11-18 schools in Leeds, that offer a wide-range of vocational and academic courses. We have a vision and determination to provide these schools with an excellent English Teacher able to support up to GCSE and A Level standard. To work in these schools is to embrace the challenges of an economically-diverse community and understand the influence education has in addressing social immobility. We’re looking for brilliant people to work and teach in these schools' English departments.

The schools have excellent facilities. They offer and value a broad curriculum aimed at promoting talent beyond traditional academic subjects. Their significant investment in professional development will drive students' continuous improvement. These are places where everyone improves regardless of their career stage.

The Post

Required for immediate start, we are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, experienced English teacher to teach in our schools. The ability to teach up to GCSE is essential and the ability to teach to A level desirable.

The successful candidate should be able to deliver excellence in the classroom, providing innovative and inspirational teaching and learning. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified and experienced candidate to work with colleagues to be part of a vibrant and outstanding department. This post is suitable for an experienced professional looking to further their expertise or an ECT starting their career.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
