Qualifications:

English degree, QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

Job Duties:

  • Supervise and manage secondary school students in the absence of regular teachers
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans effectively
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe learning environment
  • Provide support to students with their learning and development

Required Qualifications:

  • English degree
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

Education:

English degree

Experience:

Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to engage and motivate students
  • Adaptability to different classroom environments
  • Confidence in managing student behaviour

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional teaching qualifications
  • Experience working with secondary school students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
