Job description

 

Are you a dedicated English Language Teacher with QTS, ready to make a real impact? We have a fantastic opportunity at a specialist school in Poole, where you’ll be teaching students aged 3 to 18 with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD), severe learning disabilities (SLD), and physical disabilities (PD). This is a full-time role starting immediately, offering the chance to join a supportive and inclusive school environment.

As an English Language Teacher, you will play a vital role in fostering communication skills and helping students express themselves. Your lessons will be tailored to meet each child’s individual needs, ensuring they reach their full potential.

 

Your Role

This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position from 8.30am to 3.30pm. In this role, you will:

  • Teach small, focused groups, enabling you to provide personalised learning for each student.

  • Work alongside a supportive team, committed to creating a positive learning environment.

  • Develop and adapt engaging lesson plans that cater to the varied needs of students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
