Job Title: KS2 English and Maths Tutor

Location:

East of England, Essex, Greys

Job Type:

Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

£20 - £30 Per hour

Job Duties:

  • Provide tailored English and Maths tutoring sessions to Key Stage 2 students
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to enhance students' understanding
  • Assess students' progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly
  • Provide constructive feedback to students to support their learning and development
  • Collaborate with parents and teachers to ensure a holistic approach to student education

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Demonstrable experience in tutoring or teaching English and Maths to Key Stage 2 students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar tutoring or teaching role

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Thorough understanding of the Key Stage 2 English and Maths curriculum
  • Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities
  • Proficiency in using educational technology and resources

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education or related field
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN)

Working Conditions:

The role involves working with children in an educational setting, following a set schedule, and collaborating with school staff and parents.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
