Contract: Full-time, Temporary (via Teaching Personnel)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated EHCP Coordinator to oversee the administrative processes related to Education, Health, and Care Plans across our College. You will ensure all EHCP data is accurately maintained, liaise with Local Authorities, and provide essential support and advice to students, parents/carers, and professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and support to students, parents, and staff regarding EHCP processes.
  • Log, track, and monitor EHCP consultations and assessments, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  • Coordinate and facilitate EHCP review meetings in line with Local Authority guidelines.
  • Ensure EHCP support is regularly reviewed and that staff have access to relevant assessment information and targets.
  • Liaise with Local Authority EHCP/SEND teams regarding student queries and processes.
  • Deliver training sessions to College staff on EHCP processes and statutory requirements.
  • Attend meetings with schools, Local Authorities, and internal College teams.
  • Maintain and update all EHCP-related documentation.
  • Assist with Special Educational Needs (SEN) projects and support the wider inclusion team as required.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: Previous experience in EHCP coordination, SEND administration, or a similar role within education.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of EHCP processes, statutory guidance, and SEND legislation.
  • Skills: Strong administrative, organisational, and communication skills.
  • IT Proficiency: Experience using data management systems (e.g., ProSolution) is desirable.
  • Team Player: Ability to collaborate with students, parents, teachers, and external professionals.
