Job Title: Early Career Teacher (ECT) – Primary School Teacher

Location: Whitworth
Salary: £100 - £120 per day
Contract Type: Full-Time
Start Date: February 2025

The Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join our Primary School team. You will have the opportunity to teach a range of subjects, working with a class of engaged and eager-to-learn students. You will be supported by a team of experienced educators and have access to a comprehensive induction programme to help you thrive in your first years of teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

-          Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.

-          Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel safe, valued, and motivated to learn.

-          Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.

-          Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices.

-          Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development sessions.

-          Build strong relationships with students, parents, and the wider school community.

Who We Are Looking For:

-          You must be a qualified teacher (QTS) or be on track to achieve QTS before the start of the academic year.

-          Passionate about working with children and fostering a love of learning.

-          Enthusiastic, with a positive attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement.

-          A strong communicator who can work effectively with staff, students, and parents.

-          A creative and adaptable teacher, able to tailor learning to meet the diverse needs of your students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
