Job Title: Full-Time EYFS Teacher
Location: Worthing Area
Contract Type: Full-Time (May – End of Academic Year)

Teaching Personnel is excited to be working alongside a school in the Worthing area to recruit a Full-Time Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher. This role is set to begin in May and will run until the end of the academic year.

Role Overview:

The successful candidate will work closely with the Nursery Manager to deliver a high-quality Early Years curriculum (EYFS), ensuring the safety and well-being of the children at all times. You will be responsible for creating an engaging learning environment and promoting positive learning opportunities for all children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Nursery Manager in implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.

  • Ensure the safety, well-being, and emotional development of all children.

  • Plan and deliver exciting learning opportunities to develop children’s cognitive, physical, social, and emotional skills.

  • Promote inclusion and support the identification and teaching of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

  • Collaborate with support staff to plan teaching and learning in line with school policy.

  • Reinforce the school’s positive behaviour policy and code of conduct.

The Successful Candidate Will:

  • Hold a Qualified Early Years Teacher (QTS) or be an Early Years Practitioner with a BA degree in Early Years or Early Childhood Studies.

  • Demonstrate a passion for working with young children and a commitment to fostering their development.

  • Be proactive and able to engage with children through various learning activities.

  • Have experience in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

  • Have access to a car due to the school’s location.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
