Position: Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Supply Teacher
Location: North Solihull
Employment Type: Temporary, Part-time (Supply)
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
About Us:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and flexible EYFS teacher to join our team on a supply basis to ensure a seamless learning experience for our children while their regular teacher is on maternity leave. This role is anticipated to begin in March 2025, so interested candidates are encouraged to apply promptly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities that support the holistic development of children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Create a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment where children feel confident, comfortable, and motivated to learn.
- Manage classroom behaviour in a calm, respectful, and constructive manner, promoting independence, cooperation, and inclusivity.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing constructive feedback to parents and colleagues as needed.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the smooth running of the classroom and the school.
- Adhere to the school's EYFS curriculum, policies, and procedures to maintain consistency and quality of education.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience in EYFS education.
- A thorough understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Passion for working with young children and supporting their holistic development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Positive and inclusive approach to classroom management.
- Enhanced DBS check (assistance provided if needed).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
