Job Description:
As an Early Years Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
- Creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to explore and learn
- Implementing a variety of teaching strategies and activities to meet the diverse needs and abilities of young learners
- Observing and assessing children's progress, providing regular feedback to parents and carers, and maintaining accurate records
- Building strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support children's well-being and development
- Participating in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice and contribute to the school community
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a relevant field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
- Experience teaching in an Early Years setting preferred, but newly qualified teachers are also encouraged to apply
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to creating a positive learning environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
