Early Years Practitioner Opportunity – Blackpool & Lytham
Position: Early Years Practitioner
Location: Primary and Nursery Settings in Blackpool and Lytham
Start Date: January 2025
Contract: Full-time, flexible working options available
Salary: £12.90 - £13.50 per hour (dependent on experience)
Are you passionate about supporting the development of young learners? Teaching Personnel is seeking enthusiastic and experienced Early Years Practitioners to work across primary and nursery settings in Blackpool and Lytham, starting in January 2025.
The Role
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will:
- Work collaboratively with teachers and nursery staff to deliver engaging activities that support the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- Assist in creating a nurturing and inclusive environment where children feel safe and inspired to learn.
- Support the personal, social, and emotional development of young learners.
- Observe and assess children’s progress, providing feedback to parents and colleagues.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education, Childcare, or equivalent.
- Experience working with children aged 0-5 in a school or nursery setting.
- A strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive, patient, and caring approach to supporting children’s development.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
