Job Title: Early Years Practitioner
Location:
North West England, Lancashire, Accrington
Job Type:
Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

Education - Early Years Foundation / NURSERY, PRE-SCHOOL OR RECEPTION CLASS
Salary:
£12.90 - £13.50 Per hour
Job Duties:
- Plan and implement activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of the children in the early years setting
- Adapt continuous provision activities to promote a play-based learning approach
- Provide a safe and stimulating environment that facilitates learning
- Observe, assess, and record children's progress and share feedback with parents or guardians and SLT
- Work in partnership with other staff members to ensure effective communication and teamwork
- Follow and implement all policies and procedures of the setting
- Build positive relationships with the whole class, especialyl your Key Worker group
- Deliver small group sessions
- Deliver Phonics Groups, following a Phonics Scheme to promote Early Reading
- Listen to children read
ESSENTIAL Qualifications:
A recognised Early Years qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Childcare)
Education:
GCSEs in English and Maths or equivalent
Experience:
Prior experience working with children in an early years setting - either Nursery, Pre-School or Reception Class
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
