Salary:

£12.90 - £13.50 Per hour

Job Duties:

• Plan and implement activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of the children in the early years setting
• Adapt continuous provision activities to promote a play-based learning approach
• Provide a safe and stimulating environment that facilitates learning
• Observe, assess, and record children's progress and share feedback with parents or guardians and SLT
• Work in partnership with other staff members to ensure effective communication and teamwork
• Follow and implement all policies and procedures of the setting
• Build positive relationships with the whole class, especialyl your Key Worker group
• Deliver small group sessions
• Deliver Phonics Groups, following a Phonics Scheme to promote Early Reading
• Listen to children read

ESSENTIAL Qualifications:

A recognised Early Years qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Childcare)

Education:

GCSEs in English and Maths or equivalent

Experience:

Prior experience working with children in an early years setting - either Nursery, Pre-School or Reception Class 

Knowledge and Skills:

• Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
