Job Duties:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons for children in the Early Years Foundation Stage
- Assess and monitor children's progress, providing feedback to parents and colleagues
- Create a safe and stimulating learning environment
- Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to meet the individual needs of all children
- Implement behaviour management strategies effectively
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Teaching Experience in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
Education:
A relevant degree in Education or Early Childhood Studies
Experience:
Demonstrable experience teaching in the Early Years Foundation Stage
Knowledge and Skills:
- Proactive and able to use own initiative
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Passion for working with young children
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional training in Early Years education
- Specialist training in areas such as Special Educational Needs (SEN) or Safeguarding
Working Conditions:
This role involves working part-time hours in a school setting during term time. The successful candidate will be expected to engage with children aged 3-5 years old and work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
