Teaching Personnel are recruiting an ESOL Tutor in the Bath area to assist a Year 11 pupil who has just come into the UK. This child has very low-level English and will therefore require an experienced Tutor, who can bring confidence to the pupil to integrate them into a mainstream British school.

The Role:

The tuition will consist of 1:1 block sessions within the child’s home or a local Library. We will require you to work 10 hours per week on a part-time basis at a rate of £25.00 per hour.

-          Supporting the pupil is essential – building a trusting relationship with the child and ensuring a safe learning environment.

-          Planning and providing your own learning materials is required.

-          The ideal candidate will be: resilient yet understanding, empathetic, passionate about providing a change to a child’s education and experienced within ESOL or teaching EAL.

-          Strong English skills are also essential for this role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
