Teaching Personnel are working closely with a School situated within Northampton who are seeking a Drama Teacher to join them on a temporary basis on a part or full time basis, commencing as soon as possible.
This role requires a Drama Teacher able to teach mainly Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 level. We are open to applicants seeking a permanent role also!
Contract
This is a temporary supply contract through Teaching Personnel, meaning you would be contracted directly to work at the school on a temporary set date basis. The length of the contract is to be determined, but confirmed currently until Easter 2025. You would be expected to plan, mark and deliver Drama lessons to your timetabled devised of KS3 and KS4 classes with PPA time included and you would be paid in line with the National Teacher Pay Scales. You must arrive no later than 8:20am and finish at 15:20pm.
Pay
You would be paid to the National Teacher Pay Scale salary between M1 - UPS1 on a daily rate equivalent.

The ideal candidate we would like to speak to will possess:
- QTS or PGCE Drama or related field
- Drama Teacher with at least 1 years experience teaching up to KS4
- Highly knowledgeable in GCSE Drama curriculum
- Be passionate about teaching Drama and promoting learning in this creative subject
- Good or Outstanding classroom practice with high expectations for achievements and behaviour
- Be able to plan and deliver creative and stimulating Drama lessons
