Are you a passionate and creative Design & Technology (DT) Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to inspire students? Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated DT Teacher to join the dynamic and forward-thinking Technology department of one of our partner schools in Cardiff. The school provides innovative mainstream education to +1400 pupils of the catchment area within a suburb of Cardiff. With parking on site for all staff, a train station nearby and bus stops only a short distance from the school site the school is well connected for all applicants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and practical DT lessons to students aged [KS3-KS5/ages].
  • Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Foster creativity, problem-solving, and technical skills in students.
  • Maintain a safe and stimulating workshop environment.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities, such as STEM clubs and competitions.

What Teaching Personnel are Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Design & Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience teaching DT at all Key Stage levels.
  • Strong classroom management skills and a passion for hands-on learning.
  • Ability to inspire students and promote a love for design and innovation.
