Job Opportunity: Design Technology Teacher – Northampton

Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Technology Teacher looking for your next opportunity? Teaching Personnel is seeking a skilled educator to join a supportive secondary school in Northampton, inspiring students to achieve their potential in Design and Technology.

About the Role:
As a Technology Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging lessons across the Design and Technology curriculum, including subjects such as Product Design, Resistant Materials, or Graphics.
  • Inspire and motivate students to develop creative and practical skills.
  • Plan and assess work effectively to ensure all students achieve their best.
  • Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver an enriching curriculum and contribute to the wider school community.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with specialism in Design and Technology.
  • Proven experience teaching Technology at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable but not essential).
  • A passion for teaching and inspiring young learners.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • A valid DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
