Teachers/Tutors/ Cover Supervisors for SEN Provision

  • Flexible working hours/ days

Teaching Personnel is looking to recruit Teachers for work opportunities in the Specialist Provision in the Lancashire area. There are multiple schools in the area that are looking for additional teaching staff including Preston, Chorley, Leyland, Lancaster, Blackpool, Skelmersdale, Burnley, Blackburn and Accrington. These schools cater for students with varying needs including ASC, MLD, PMLD, Downs Syndrome, Physical Disabilities, Sensory Impairments, SEMH difficulties and those who display challenging behaviours.

To be successful in these roles, experience supporting challenging children is desirable however not required. You are likely to be successful whether you are an experienced SEN support assistant, a graduate looking for experience in specialist provision, have personal experience supporting individuals with additional needs or have current/ prior experience as a support/care worker etc. The schools cater for primary and/or secondary aged pupils, therefore if you are interested in working within Specialist Provision – please get in touch!

These roles vary in terms of start dates and longevity. Dependent on the successful applicants availability the roles may be available on a longer-term basis. The Senior Leadership Teams has said there is flexibility in terms of where the educators will be placed, based on their specialism/ subject knowledge and skillset. Teachers with either primary or secondary teaching experience will be considered. ECTs (NQTs), RQTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
