We are seeking a dynamic and experienced part-time Dance Teacher to join our team at a school in Poole. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Dance to students across all key stages, delivering engaging and challenging lessons that foster creativity, physical development, and a love for the subject.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver high-quality lessons in Dance to students across all key stages.
- Create a stimulating and dynamic learning environment that encourages physical development, promotes creativity, and develops essential skills.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to support their academic and personal growth.
- Monitor and track student progress, identify areas for improvement, and take appropriate actions to ensure their academic success.
- Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and school events as required.
- Develop positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians to foster a supportive and collaborative learning environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Dance or a related field.
- Experience teaching Dance to students across all key stages.
- Strong knowledge of the subject matter and a passion for teaching.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students and foster a positive learning environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve departmental and school goals.
The position is part-time and starts in September. The expected hours will be 2 days per week, with a possibility of additional hours depending on the needs of the school. The salary package will be competitive and will reflect the candidate's qualifications and experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
