Position: Part-Time Cover Teaching Assistant
Location: Twickenham and Surrounding Areas
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Working Hours: Flexible, ad-hoc basis (Monday to Friday)
Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and adaptable Part-Time Cover Teaching Assistant to work across primary and secondary schools in the Twickenham area. This role is ideal for someone looking for flexible work in education, supporting classrooms when regular staff are absent.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide classroom support to teachers, ensuring smooth lesson delivery.
-
Assist with pupil learning, both in groups and one-to-one.
-
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
-
Support students with special educational needs (SEN) where required.
-
Adapt quickly to different school environments and year groups.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
-
Previous experience working with children (school, tutoring, childcare, etc.).
-
Flexibility to work on short notice and across different age groups.
-
A patient, proactive, and positive attitude.
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
-
An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
