Job Ad: General Cover Teacher (Supply) – Surrey Secondary Schools

Position: General Cover Teacher (Day-to-Day Supply)
Location: Secondary Schools across Surrey
Daily Rate: £130 - £150 per day
Hours: 8:30am-3pm

Are you an enthusiastic educator looking to make a difference in Surrey secondary schools? We are seeking reliable, adaptable General Cover Teachers to join our supply team and support local schools with day-to-day cover needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons across various subjects using provided materials
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment
- Ensure students are supported, motivated, and focused during cover periods
- Adapt to different classroom settings and school policies as needed

What We're Looking For
- Classroom experience: Previous experience in a classroom setting is essential
- Classroom management skills: Ability to effectively manage behavior and engage students
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Preferable but not required for this role

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
