Cover Supervisor – York

Are you looking to step into the world of education? Teaching Personnel is seeking confident and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across York. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or individuals with experience working with young people.
The Role:
- Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans in the absence of the class teacher
- Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment
- Supporting students with their learning and maintaining engagement
- Covering a variety of subjects across KS3 and KS4
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience working with young people (e.g., tutoring, coaching, youth work) is desirable
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- A confident and adaptable approach to teaching and learning
- A degree or relevant qualification is advantageous but not essential
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
