Cover Supervisors Needed in Wigan – Immediate Start!
Are you seeking a flexible and rewarding role in the education sector? We are currently recruiting for confident and proactive Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across Wigan with staff absences and classroom management.
About the Role:
- In the absence of the teacher, you will be responsible for managing classrooms, ensuring students remain engaged and on task.
- You will deliver pre-set lesson plans across various subjects and year groups.
- It will be your responsibility to maintain a positive learning environment and handle any classroom behaviour effectively.
What We’re Looking For:
- We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals with strong communication skills.
- Prior experience working with young people in an educational or coaching setting is preferred but not essential.
- A flexible and adaptable approach to work is essential.
- The successful candidate will have an Enhanced DBS on the update service, or be willing to obtain one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
