Do you have a passion for education? Are you looking for flexible work within secondary schools? If so, this role would be ideal for you! Teaching Personnel are excited to share the opportunity to work as a cover supervisor in our Ofsted graded ‘Good’ schools in Wigan.
As a cover supervisor you will be required to cover a range of subject lessons when staff are absent.
The start date for this role is ASAP.
Duties of a Cover supervisor:
- Delivering pre planned lessons when the regular teacher is absent
- Ensure students are engaged in the assigned tasks and provide support as needed
- Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
Role details:
- Flexible to fit around your schedule- work as little or as much as you need!
- Teaching qualification not required, must be confident and have a strong presence in the classroom
- Pay is £77- 85 per day
You will be working in a range of secondary schools in Wigan local to you. A job as a cover supervisor would be ideal for a graduate looking to pursue a career in education, and would also suit someone looking to gain experience working in a secondary school setting.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
