Graduate Cover Supervisor – Flexible Opportunities Across Wigan

Are you a recent graduate looking to gain valuable experience in education? Do you have a passion for working with young people and want to develop your classroom management skills?

We are seeking a Graduate Cover Supervisor to work across a variety of schools in the Wigan area. This is a fantastic opportunity to build your confidence in a classroom setting while making a real difference to students’ learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the teacher.
  • Maintain a calm, focused learning environment.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively in line with school policies.
  • Provide support and encouragement to students to help them engage with the lesson.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A degree in any subject (essential).
  • A passion for education and working with young people.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Confidence to lead a classroom independently (training will be provided).

Location: Wigan (travel between schools may be required).
Pay Rate: £85 - £100 per day (depending on experience and qualifications).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
