Join Our Team as a Cover Supervisor in Sunderland!

Are you passionate about education and eager to gain hands-on teaching experience in a secondary school? An exciting opportunity awaits at our partner schools in Sunderland! We’re looking for a committed and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to start immediately.

Role Details

  • Position: Cover Supervisor
  • Pay: £90–£100 per day
  • Contract: Full-Time
  • Start Date: ASAP

Conveniently located, the school is accessible by car via the A1231, A183, A690, A1018, or A19, and also benefits from excellent public transport links for non-drivers across the North East.

What We're Looking For

  • Familiar with the National Curriculum and able to support students effectively.
  • Confident in managing classrooms and engaging students of various abilities.
  • Educated to degree level (preferred but not essential).
  • Willing to undergo an Enhanced Child Only DBS check.
  • Able to provide two professional references from recent employment.

Your Responsibilities

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
  • Adapt lesson delivery to meet the diverse needs of learners.
  • Gain valuable experience that can support future teacher training applications (such as a PGCE).
  • Engage in extracurricular activities to enrich the school community.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
