Location: Sheffield
Salary: £83.75 - £95 per day (PAYE)

Our partner secondary schools in the Sheffield area are seeking reliable and motivated Cover Supervisors to join their teams. This is a fantastic opportunity to support schools through our partnership with Teaching Personnel, a leading education recruitment agency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Classroom Supervision: Manage classrooms during teacher absences, ensuring students remain focused and engaged.
  • Student Support: Foster a positive environment where students feel encouraged to learn and succeed.
  • Lesson Continuity: Deliver pre-prepared lessons effectively, ensuring learning objectives are met.
  • Classroom Behaviour: Maintain high standards of behaviour management in line with school policies.
  • Policy Adherence: Uphold the school’s policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all students.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Availability: Flexibility for long-term and day-to-day placements during standard school hours (8:15 am to 3:00 pm).
  • Experience: While experience working in schools is advantageous, we welcome candidates with transferable skills from other roles, especially those involving leadership or working with young people.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and classroom management abilities to engage effectively with students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
