A well-established secondary school in Salisbury is seeking a dedicated and reliable Cover Supervisor to join their team on a full-time basis from 22nd April 2025 until July 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual passionate about supporting students and assisting in the smooth running of classrooms in the absence of regular teachers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervising classes across a range of subjects during short-term teacher absences.
  • Ensuring that students remain on task and engage with the assigned work.
  • Maintaining good order and discipline within the classroom.
  • Supporting students with their learning and ensuring they follow instructions.
  • Providing feedback to staff and leadership as required.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage and motivate students effectively.
  • Flexible, reliable, and proactive in managing classroom situations.
  • Previous experience in a school setting or with young people is desirable, though not essential.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic school environment, gaining invaluable experience in a secondary school setting.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
