Job Description:

Job Duties:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing classrooms during the short-term absence of the regular teacher. Your duties will include supervising students, ensuring they stay on task, delivering pre-prepared lessons, and maintaining discipline within the classroom.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively manage a classroom environment

Education:

A Level 3 qualification in Education or relevant field is preferred.

Experience:

Prior experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of classroom management techniques
  • Ability to follow and deliver lesson plans
  • Good organisational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Higher education qualifications in Education or related field would be advantageous.

Working Conditions:

This role is temporary and part-time, with hours varying based on school needs. The work environment will be within a school setting, adhering to the school's policies and procedures.
