As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-set lessons and ensuring a productive learning environment during teacher absences.
This dynamic role allows you to work across different year groups and subjects, offering you variety and flexibility in your schedule.
Key Duties:
- Classroom Supervision: Overseeing students in the classroom and maintaining focus on the work provided by the absent teacher.
- Facilitating Learning: Helping students stay on track with their studies and ensuring the smooth running of lessons.
- Behaviour Management: Encouraging good behaviour and dealing with any issues following the school’s policies.
- General Classroom Support: Assisting with basic administrative tasks such as collecting student work and reporting on progress to teaching staff.
- Engagement: Building positive relationships with both students and staff, helping to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

- Punctuality & Professionalism: Be dependable, punctual, and maintain a professional attitude throughout your assignments.

- Experience/Qualifications: Previous experience working in schools is advantageous but not required. Strong organisational skills, confidence in managing a classroom, and a passion for supporting student development are key.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
