Job description

A vibrant school in Poole is seeking a full-time Cover Supervisor to join their team from Easter 2025. The school is looking for a passionate individual who is dedicated to supporting students and creating a positive learning environment.

The Role: The Cover Supervisor will play a crucial role in ensuring that students are supported when their regular teacher is absent. Responsibilities include supervising classes, maintaining a positive learning environment, and assisting students with their work. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to work closely with a fantastic team of teachers and support staff, all committed to helping students thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage classes during teacher absences
  • Assist students with their work and provide guidance where needed
  • Support the overall classroom environment and ensure students remain focused
  • Maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
  • Ensure school policies and procedures are followed
