Job description

Supply Teacher

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit for an Unqualified Supply Teacher to work at various client secondary schools in the heart of Old Trafford, starting in February.

Our client secondary schools are highly respected institutions with fantastic facilities and very welcoming and supportive staff. The schools are situated in Stretford and have great public transport links as they are situated nearby to bus and tram routes which go in and out of central Manchester. Someone with access to a vehicle can also access the staff car parks.

Benefits:
- Possibility to earn up to £130 per day (depending on experience).
- No marking or planning responsibilities, and flexibility to work between any great secondary schools.
- Schools have large secure car parks and good public transport links.
- Flexible work contract (can take on both part-time and full-time hours).

The role itself involves working closely with many different school departments and covering a variety of lessons for both KS3 and KS4 students. It is essential that applicants are flexible and confident in their ability to cover different subjects and to build a lot of strong relationships with many students over a short period of time. Due to the nature of this role, there are no additional planning or marking responsibilities.

If educators can offer a subject specialism that they are interested in teaching, schools can be flexible and acknowledge this when organising your timetable.

Additional requirements:
- Flexible to working at different schools during the week.
- Experience working with KS3 and KS4 students (desirable).
- Confident and have the ability to build relationships quickly.
- Ability to start and hit the ground running (with some level of flexibility).
