Cover Supervisor
Location: North West England, Lancashire, Leyland
Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time
Salary: £83.85 - £100 Per day
Job Duties:
- Supervising and managing classroom activities in the absence of the regular teacher
- Implementing pre-prepared lesson plans and ensuring student engagement
- Maintaining discipline and ensuring a safe learning environment
- Assisting students with any questions or concerns during lessons
- Reporting back on student behaviour and progress to the appropriate staff
Required Qualifications:
- GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Mathematics
- Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively
Education:
- Minimum of GCSEs in English and Mathematics
Experience:
- Experience working with children or young people in an educational environment
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of classroom management techniques
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to build rapport with students
Preferred Qualifications:
- Higher education qualifications in Education or related field
- Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor
Working Conditions:
- Part-Time hours, temporary position
