Cover Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise students during lessons in the absence of their regular teacher
- Ensure students remain on task and engaged with the provided work
- Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
- Support students with their work and provide assistance where needed
- Report back on student progress and behaviour to the relevant teaching staff
- Assist with the smooth running of day-to-day school activities
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with young people (preferably in an educational setting)
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage and motivate students
- Adaptable, flexible, and proactive approach
- A desire to support the educational development of students
- A relevant qualification (e.g., degree or teaching assistant qualification) is desirable but not essential
