PRIMARY COVER SUPERVISORS (unqualified teachers)
Job Title: Primary Cover Supervisor
Location: Leicestershire, East Midlands, England
Job Type: Full-Time, Temporary
Salary: £90 - £110 per day
Qualifications: GCSE English & GCSE Maths minimum

Your Role Will Include:
✅ Supervising classes in the absence of a teacher
✅ Managing classroom behaviour effectively
✅ Ensuring students stay engaged and complete set work
✅ Supporting and guiding students when needed
✅ Following school policies and safeguarding procedures
What You’ll Need:
- Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
- Prior experience teaching children in an educational setting.
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to think on your feet and handle unexpected situations
- Excellent organisational abilities to keep the classroom running smoothly
Bonus Qualifications (Preferred):
- Additional qualifications related to education or child development are a plus!
Working Environment:
You’ll be working in a dynamic school environment, following the school calendar and timetable. Some flexibility may be required depending on the school’s needs, ensuring that every day brings a new and rewarding challenge.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
