Title: Cover Supervisor 

Teaching personnel are looking for a teacher to provide General Cover work for Hull schools. General Cover teaching provides a level of freedom to teaching that set teaching roles cannot offer. With looking at the options of covering, Daily, short-term and Long-term cover roles in different schools with a variation of subjects. If you are looking for a short-term role where you can gain experience with a competitive pay. This may be the role for you.

The role itself focuses on:

•Providing cover for absent teachers both in short term and long-term positions

•Ensuring students engage with the given lesson plan and avoid disruption to the learning timelines provided by the teacher

•Confidently keep the students focused and enforce the different school rules when teaching temporarily

The successful candidate will ideally have worked in a classroom within the last two years and have relevant references. A UK Qualified Teacher Status and have a DBS certificate. The role also offers the successful candidates to teach their specialised subject or any subjects they may have interest in. some cover work may even become a permanent position.

Our client school itself is a bustling school of over 1000 students with priorities in progressive teaching and learning. With a Good Ofsted rating and a focus on educating and preparing their students for leaving the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
