Are you confident, organised, and looking to gain valuable experience in education? Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a Cover Supervisor to work in secondary schools in and around Hornsea. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced support staff looking to step into a classroom-based role.
The Role:
-
Delivering pre-set lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher
-
Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment
-
Supporting pupils with their learning and keeping them on task
-
Working across a range of subjects and year groups (Key Stage 3 and 4)
-
Gaining valuable classroom experience with the support of school staff
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
-
Strong communication and classroom management skills
-
A professional, flexible, and proactive approach
-
Confidence working with young people aged 11–16
-
Experience working in a school setting (desirable but not essential)
-
A desire to pursue a career in education or gain further experience in schools

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
