Teaching Personnel are on the lookout for enthusiastic individuals for a number of schools throughout the Scarborough area. Offering both full and part time roles, becoming a cover supervisor can be a very fulfilling role alongside offering flexibility to work around you.
As a cover supervisor you’ll have the opportunity to make a difference by teaching and supervising pupils across KS3 and KS4. With pre – prepared lessons ready to go, you’ll step into the classroom and deliver engaging content providing the best quality of education.
The ideal candidate
- You are not required to hold a Qualified Teacher Status as a cover supervisor
- Experience within a school environment (non-essential)
- An interest in student learning and development
- To be a compassionate and caring individual
- you will need excellent behaviour management skills and confidence to handle any situation that may arise in the classroom
Your role
- Delivering pre- set lessons- Facilitate learning by following lessons plans and ensuring productive classroom environment.
- Maintaining Order: Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a respectful and focused atmosphere
- Assisting with Queries: Provide support to students by answering questions and offering guidance
- Reporting: Record any issues or incidents and communicate them to appropriate staff members
- Collaboration: Collaborate with teaching staff and school leadership to ensure seamless educational experience for students
Requirements
- Full-time position with part-time options available
- Encouraging unqualified teachers to apply and gain valuable experience
- Safer Recruitment in Education check required
- UK residency or at least 2 years of UK residency for vetting purposes

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
