Experienced Cover Supervisors Required in Fareham Secondary Schools!

 

Teaching Personnel, a leading education recruitment agency, is proud to be working closely with a number of secondary schools in the Fareham area that are seeking experienced and dedicated Cover Supervisors to join their teams. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the continuity of education for students by covering and presenting lessons in the absence of their regular teachers. We are looking for individuals who possess a professional demeanour, a determined approach to managing classrooms, and a passion for contributing to the success of young learners.

 

About the Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes across a range of subjects, ensuring that students remain engaged with their learning during teacher absences. Your duties will include delivering pre-set lesson plans, managing classroom behaviour, and providing support to students as they work through their tasks. While this role does not require you to plan or mark work, you will be expected to maintain high standards of teaching and learning by facilitating a positive and focused classroom environment.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, or experience working with young people in an educational setting. Strong communication skills, the ability to manage a classroom effectively, and a resilient attitude are essential for success in this position. You will need to be adaptable, able to think on your feet, and confident in your ability to handle various classroom situations.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
