Whether you're a qualified teacher (QTS) or an experienced Cover Supervisor, this is your opportunity to make a difference while gaining valuable classroom experience.

The Role:

  • Location: Secondary schools in Chelmsford.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons and maintain a productive learning environment.
  • Manage classroom behaviour positively and effectively.
  • Engage and build rapport with students to support their academic and personal development.
  • Offer guidance, encouragement, and constructive feedback.

Who Can Apply?

You don’t need QTS to apply! We welcome:

  • Candidates with a Certificate in Education and Training (CET) or equivalent.
  • Individuals with experience in teaching, coaching, mentoring, or youth engagement.
  • Professionals from youth work, sports coaching, alternative provision, care work, charities, or similar backgrounds.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
