Job description

A reputable mainstream secondary school in Bournemouth is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join their team starting in January 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to support student learning in a dynamic educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise classes in the absence of teaching staff, ensuring a positive learning environment.
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and maintain classroom discipline.
  • Assist students with their learning and provide support where needed.
  • Monitor student progress and report any issues to the appropriate staff members.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in an educational setting is desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to different subjects and age groups.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
