Join Teaching Personnel: Shaftesbury's Premier Education Agency

This full-time role begins in September/October.

Role: Cover Supervisor

  • Location: Secondary School in Shaftesbury
  • Start Date: September/October
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 3pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise classes in the absence of the class teacher.
  • Cover multiple classes and ensure the continuation of the pre-prepared work.
  • Provide supervision during teachers' PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) time.
  • Maintain a positive and controlled learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Confident and experienced Teaching Assistants are encouraged to apply.
  • Individuals looking to enter the field of education are welcome; we offer a comprehensive Cover Supervisor course at Teaching Personnel.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
